I’m a master code switcher and had the lived experience of the insidiousness of the model minority myth that the privilege that you gain by living up to that impossible standard of being a good girl, the smart hardworking woman who is always present and never asks for credit...somehow always grateful and happy to be at the table despite not getting recognized or paid for what she’s worth. This was my pattern of living for a really long time.

…In the start of our coaching together, I focused on the surface level conditions of my life: stress management, career opportunities, etc. But I realized through our exploration that there was the deeper yearning to authentically show up...but I was really afraid that if I answered this call from my spirit, that I was crazy, idealistic to the point of being out of touch with reality, disloyal to the people and projects I’m already involved in.

The Liberation Journey Coaching Framework that Jenn walked me through our coaching journey was a beautiful thing. It was saying YES to all of my light, beauty, shadow and darkness and taking that leap of faith and allowing myself to be without conditions.
